The stunning location of Bodelaeke at a private lake in Giethoorn is unique. With an open waterway connection to the Beulakerwijde, at walking distance from the tourist center of Giethoorn and in the heart of De Weerribben-Wieden National Park, it is the ideal location for nature lovers, sports fishers, dog owners and water sports enthusiasts.

Reception staff member

As a reception staff member, you are responsible for a unique guest experience and the well-being of our guests. You are the point of contact for all visitors at the park. With your eye for detail, you ensure a perfect ambiance to make a visit to reception radiate exactly what we as Bodelaeke represent. Your sincere guest focus ensures that guests feel welcome and at home and, along with all other visitors of the park, experience the class and appearance the park represents.

 You provide guests with proactive advice about the possibilities of our park and the interesting sights in the immediate vicinity. As a member of our team, you know who the owners at the park are and you are able to assist them friendly but professionally with your charm without making concessions that exceed the tasks you are responsible for. As a reception staff member, you work together with colleagues from back office, facility and the technical staff. In the interest of proper coordination between all of the teams, you know what each team does and you feel responsible for doing that what is needed for all teams to function optimally.

As a reception team member, you are collectively responsible for reception being staffed during opening hours. You work in couples during busy hours and alone when it is quiet. You have a varying schedule that also involves you working weekend shifts.

Who are you?

Are you hospitable with good communication skills, do you speak multiple languages and are you autonomous and solution-oriented? Do you know what the guest's wishes are and can you act accordingly? And will you ensure, along with your colleagues, that the guests enjoy an amazing stay at our Water Resort?

You have experience in welcoming/reception; a completed hospitality-oriented education is advantageous; you are autonomous and have a positive mindset; you have flexible availability, including during Sundays and holidays; you are representative and extremely hospitable; you have very good communication skills in Dutch, German and English.

Technical Support staff member

As a member of the technical support staff, you take care of maintenance of the park, the recreation accommodations, boats and bicycles and you can resolve small issues and make repairs yourself. If guests have any questions about the function of devices and installations at their holiday accommodation, you are able to explain this to them effortlessly in Dutch, German and English.  If necessary, you will give instructions regarding the use of our electric sloops and bicycles. 

Who are you?

You have two right hands and you are representative. Are you customer-oriented, speak multiple languages and have an autonomous and solution-oriented mindset?  You have a varying schedule that also involves you working weekend shifts.
